Avon has been in my family as long as I can remember. My mum was a Representative in the early seventies. She was Indian and couldn't speak much English, which prevented her from calling door-to-door. However, that didn't stop her from distributing catalogues at her place of work. She made a killing!

Once my older sister turned 18 she became an Avon representative, and with a good command of English and a bubbly, outgoing nature, she soon became a regular face at the doorsteps of our town.

And then it became my turn to carry on the business.

It's great to see how enduring some of the range is. Old favourites like Skin-so-Soft knocks the socks off the competition. And I love the Planet Spa range, the best hand cream I've ever used.

I've have always wanted to run my own business and to be financially independent. Avon has given me the opportunity to meet new people and make money at the same time. It's like being paid to have a good time!
